Is it a text, email? Do yopu need special mms service or can the bb data plan or txt plan cover it?

When I take a picture and try to mms to an email it fails. Not sure why?

"Multimedia Messaging Service, or MMS, is a telecommunications standard for sending messages that include multimedia objects (images, audio, video, rich text)." Multimedia Messaging Service - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Your trying to text to email, and that is why it's failing. You can send MMS to people the same way you send SMS texts.

On most plans they are covered under your regular texting plan.

    Ok thanks.

So here is what I'm trying to do...

I like to have an email with an embedded picture (not an attachment). So when someone gets it, they don't download an attachment. I thought mms did this but guess not.

Anyway I can send emails this way?
