I have been with T Mobile for years and I have two lines with unlimited voice, text and 6 gigs of data for 80.00 a month and that's with international roaming which is a great deal.

You can't negotiate with Telus, but after you sign a contract with someone else the retention department will call and ask what they can do to keep your business. When you tell them, they will say "Oh we would have done that " but it will be too late.

Has happened in my house 3 times.

Anyway, I'm with Virgin Mobile. I was poor when I got my Z10 so I signed a 3 year contract. For $80 I get unlimited minutes and 3GB of data, caller ID and voice-mail. I added a $10 unlimited long distance to that. It's not a wonderful deal, but that much data costs far more now. If I wouldn't have been poor, I could have bought my phone outright and kept my $65 plan. Hindsight is 20/20.

I heard and understood your situation, I had been in before, all big carriers are crooked. Now I have have my own unlock phone, but still not enough since I am not a good negotiator. Just hope one day there's another big carrier coming from the US to compete with the big three.

Switched to AT&T from Verizon because they offered an 8% corporate discount on my monthly bill. I've used other carriers in the meantime as well, but I've always kept my AT&T account active to keep my discount and my grandfathered unlimited data.

Like others, I've used all platforms and my preference is BlackBerry. I would probably keep my Z30 for another year, then get an unlocked Passport on eBay.......unless, I see something from the other platforms that holds my attention. After 3 iPhones, and two Androids, I have no problem going to either platform- if BlackBerry was done six months from now. I don't see that happening, but anything is possible.

I use Amaysim here in Australia pay as you go for both my blackberries at the moment, but you can get 5 gigs for 44.95 a month as well
