BBM & BBM Music.

Oh man, thanks for the plug, will give Mobile Addicts a spin, hopefully I won't be laughing too hard that my chest will hurt.
One more thing I love doing on my BBs: navigating to a hard to find place with BB maps. - 07-05-2012, 09:52 PM #31
Making use of the keyboard, of course! Whether it's text/BBM/e-mail, searching, speed dials, menu shortcuts, etc.
The clickity-clack sound of the keyboard is more satisfying than typing on a touchscreen!

Torture my older brother. He's 51 and his wife bought him his first ever smartphone, a 4s. He is so annoying with it, asking Siri everything and using talk to text thinking he's showing off and "disovered" the cell phone.
Every time I have lunch with him and my mother, my mom will ask him a question she knows he can't answer and tells him to "Ask Silas" (which annoys him). So by the time he's asked Siri about 4 times and still can't figure out how to get the answer out of her, I just google whatever it is on my Torch, blurt out the answer and make him furious.
Aside from that my most nerdly favorite thing to do with my phone outside of BBM is track my gas mileage.
Yeah, I know, it's sad. I enjoy graphs. - 07-05-2012, 10:52 PM #33
typing- typing for anything- texting, tweeting, fb, email, ect. if i'm with a someone and we have to text some people about a softball game or somethin, and we split up the list to text, I always finish a minute earlier than people not on bbs :P
Email- very simple and effective. got my school account on there, and it makes great use- especially typing on the keyboard
I use the tumblr app when I am bored and it works great
most of all I like multitasking, yea the bb10 phones are going to be one of the best multitasking experiences but i love it on my 9650 too!
my lineup usually consists of, while I study:
checking emails from professors and other students
checking blackboard.edu webpage
listening to music
texting/bbming
random phone calls
and yes sometimes I'll have a game or fb/twitter goin while i'm waiting on a response from someone , everyones gota get a little sidetracked right?

I love launching lots of apps at the same time then go trough them one at the time and they're all updated in the background while read the first one.
Open one app at a time and wait for it to update is not for me

What is the favorite thing you do on your Blackberry?
Hey guys, remember when I said there was no Kindle app on Blackberry app world? Turns out there is a Kindle app available on the Amazon website instead and I now can read all my e-books on my BB...no more whipping out my tablet to read now, I can just switch on my BB and there they are. Fantastic! *100000000

As much as i've had it on my Storm 2 then onto my Torch 9800...Garmin still rocks on my 9900 OS 7.1
Being tech savvy, i've always saved my third party apps (free and paid) so that whether i get a new replacement or new model...i transfer those 3rd party apps to my new phone. Now...so far so good that the most expensive app that i bought from garmin worked flawlessly going from Storm 2, Torch 9800 and now Bold 9900. Some of free apps and paid apps however did not transfer over but my main one Garmin is still rocking!
ive tried them all and Garmin I find is
still the best GPS app out there because its identical to their stand alone units.

Listen to any kind of music (tune in radio app) on my Bose Quiet Comfort 15's isolated in my own quiet tranquil bubble anywhere I am while the world around me is in chaos....
has the added benefit of discouraging annoying nerds from talking to me - especially at work.
I even walk through the hallways with them on....he heLast edited by PheonixSun; 07-06-2012 at 07:36 PM.
