That's an interesting concept, as long as text selection is actually done with a cursor and not with a fat finger, and it can be used to click hyperlinks.

Still, it requires the use of two hands. If they had a dedicated toggle button for it, I might actually consider it.

You drag or tap the bubble either side. Also works with Z10 I don't need to hold shift. Just hold for 1 sec

I haven't read the whole thread, but in my opinion the single biggest thing would have been a version of OS that would allow direct download of android apps from day 1.
Then there would be nothing "lacking", and everyone would feel free to try a far superior device and platform without losing anything.

The problem is that people think this stuff is magically created in weeks. This is months of work. Years even, since PlayBook had a android runtime. When all devices come pre-installed with 10.2.1 or higher it's gonna make a huge impact.

Excellent, if this is in the latest leak I will try it out tomorrow, hadn't noticed it though.

This is the only aspect of having a trackpad that one could argue is better than not having one, a la BB10, allowing the selection of text accurately by scrolling one's finger along.

If they've cracked that with a virtual solution then the "bring back the trackpad" campaigns can go swivel as far as I'm concerned.
