My guess is... no commitment, nothing, nada.

I could be wrong. But my personal speculation is that much of the impending sale and the subsequent rush for November, was more smoke and mirrors attempting to entice other potential buyers into thinking they may miss out if they don't jump fast with a better bid.

The last that was heard about the Fairfax deal was that Watsa doesn't really have a plan and is having trouble convincing people and getting the money together.

There is a chance that it will fall through.

But as said above, no one knows. Well just have to wait and see.
