Depends on your service plan but you can switch to a plan where talk, text and web are all included. I have tmobile myself and it turned out to be cheaper to switch to a plan like that.
I agree. When I got my BB in November, I switched my plan to the 500 EM+ plan which includes 500 anytime minutes, unlimited nights & weekends, unlimited text, & unlimited BB data for $59.99. The $39.99 price may just be to encourage people to go to a cheaper EM or EM+ plan. Or, that price may be for JUST the BB data plan & no voice. Data plans are always more expensive when you don't get a voice plan w/ it.

Makes sense..... my plan is 49.00 for unlimited talk/15.00 for unlimited text and 19.99 for BB part.
Got the $30/month unlimited data from AT&T here too. Same price for my hubby's iPhone too, I believe. I don't think that includes texting, we might be going for the unlimited texting now that we're both actually using it lol.

Unlimited texting is another $20/month for each device.

I was looking over my service plan and was thinking about getting a second Berry. I noticed that I am paying 19.99 for my Blackberry unlimited email/internet, but if I got a Blackberry today it would be 39.99. Out of curiosity, I am wondering what my fellow addicts are paying to get and keep their berry fix. Granted I have been with Tmobile for almost four years, but that 39.99 is a pretty hefty increase.
T-Mobile doesn't charge $39.99 for unlimited BlackBerry Internet. I pay $24.99 and they don't charge anymore than $30.00 for new customers.

Data only plan 39.99........ Blackberry with voice plan....30.00.....posted on their site.
I have the Everything Data plan with Sprint, so the unlimited BB email, SMS, MMS, etc..is included with the plan...the one I have is $69.99/month, which also includes any mobile to mobile
Prior to getting my BB, I had a family plan which cost me $10.00 for any additional line. With my BB, internet and email added another $$39.99. So in total, I pay for my specific line, about $50.00 per month.. Which isn't bad at all if you ask me!
Forgot to add that the original family plan included free mobile to mobile calls, and unlimited picture and text messages to any carrier. So that carried over to my individual BB plan.

Oof! lol Well we have only had the new phones for a few weeks...we're waiting to see the first bill to decide on that. If we're running way over it might be worth it.
