I hate to put my phone on quiet so i dont hear it vibrating all night and beeping at me from emails coming in because if i get an important call i want to be able to hear the phone. (Dont have a landline) But how do i set it so it rings when i get a call but everything else is off? lol I tried quiet mode and put a ringer on it and left everything else muted.. that doesn't work either. Any suggestions?

There is a setting on the Profiles called, "Phone Only," which will do exactly what you're asking.

I was wondering the same thing myself when I was awaken this morning by my BB vibrating on my nightstand, only to find a new Viagra email in my inbox....how many times can you click the Spam filter???

If I put it on "Phone only", will it still turn on my red blinky light if I get a text? My hubby works away from home a lot and works nights so he often text me in the middle of the night.

pammy...yes, if you put the profile on "Phone Only" you will still get all your emails, texts, etc. and will be notified by the LED, but the Phone ring will be the only alert until you set the profile to something else.

You can also set up a custom setting to only alert you when a text comes in, but if the phone rings, it'll be on mute....I have this custom setting as well as my business, I have clients who sometimes call my work number for emergency and the system pages my BB as a text. So I have a sound for the incoming texts in case of emergency, but all other sounds are muted.

Sarahnkids, you have some nerve asking people what they do in the privacy of their own bedrooms.
