I have 2 options (in Belgium):
1) Bold (499 euro) and data plan 15 euro for 3G network (100 Mb)
2) Curve (400 euro) and data plan 15 euro for Edge network (500 Mb)
What would you choose?

I would go with the bold. I guess I dont get what the 100 MB and the 500 MB is though... Is that the data plan that you can get and are those the limits?
WOW that is a HUGE difference in download caps!
IMO the decision will come down to how much you use the data (email, Internet, Instant Messaging apps).
I use the data a TON, so I would fly through the 100Mb package in NO time.
There is an app
http://crackberry.com/track-your-bla...e-data-alerter
That will alert you when you are close to your limits, whichever one you decide on.
Do you have an option to purchase the Bold, but use the GPRS data plan? I realize this is going to limit your speeds, but it would allow you to get a 3G enabled device, and try out the data to see how much you actually use.
If speed is the only thing you are concerned about though, go 3G and Bold.
Which Curve is it? Is it the 8900 or 83xx?
I would go with the Bold, but I have a 83xx Curve and I'm happy. If only I had more money to spend on a phone. . .
the cap would almost lead me to the curve on this one...
but the bold is a better device all around
the curve is a solid phone but if you have the money, go for a bold.
couldn't have said it better myself :)
the price difference between the two says it all, get the bold.
If this is a debate between the 8900 and the Bold, I say go for the 8900.
That 100mb limit is wack. The bold is a better phone tho.
I went 8900 because I needed UMA calling. ....it's something to consider.
go with the 8900.
idk how people are saying Bold is an overall better phone...curve has more on-board memory, better camera at 3.2mp, and is slick/lighter...maybe im missing something. lol
