Noticed a Web os smartwatch was shown at CES. Could something like that link with BlackBerry?

Here's a pretty infographic - http://www.webosnation.com/palm-timeline. As for BB10 connectivity, no one knows. That watch might not ever even be seen again.

Being WebOS and not Android Wear may be a good sign for us BB users if it does see the light of day. Shouldn't need Google Services, so theoretically has a better chance of working with our devices then the current crop of Android Wear devices.

I'm hopeful, since I want to pick up a G Watch R but the software will not run on my Passport.

    Thanks gentlemen, that helps.

Totally remember those palm PDAs but always had my trusty BlackBerry.

Still keepin it real on my passport. Hopefully BlackBerry can capitalize on any opportunities if this sees the light of day.

There was an effort to get WebOs running on an Android phone. I saw a video where they were having some success. I loved WebOS.

LG Web OS smartwatch isn't coming until 2016. Also LG WebOS v1 on the TVs won't be upgradeable to V2 so if you bought your TV in 2014 you're out of luck, not a good sign going forward.
