I've had WeatherBug on my 8350i for about a week now and I have noticed that it only updates when I am connected to a WiFi connection. If I switch off the WiFi and let it try and update via the mobile network, it says it (Could not connect to WeatherBug) and will not update...even if left for hours!

I can not find a setting or find via the web if this app is a WiFi only application!

    WeatherBug v 1.0.0.325
    BB 8350i Boostberry
    v4.6.1.204 (3.0.0.73)

I know for sure that this is not a Wi-Fi only app as I use it on my 8350i. Have you tried doing a battery pull? See if that works...

Do you have all the correct service books? Also check the setting under the applications menu. Maybe it is that you need BIS to make it work...

I have all SB's from combined3 and there are no menu options in the app to switch it over!

that might be your problem.... your on boost, and with having to workaround the browser it might not connect correctly

That's good info, maybe it's a network problem then!

I dont believe weather bug works but you may want to try BB Weather, it works perfectly fine, and updates on the desktop, and works with the native tcp

I just want to add that WB only works for me when wifi is connected.

I'm on the Telstra network in Australia, on a BES.

I've checked permissions and it has access to everything it needs, but still no go without wifi.
