I agree. I usually just throw the stock weather app into a folder. But after I took at this one I liked it better than my weather network app.
This 10.2 release is awesome.

I agree. Plenty of useful info, nice gesture operation, and subtle animations for rainfall.

I like the app, but I noticed that parts of it are just the mobile Accuweather site which definitely doesn't compliment the rest of the app in the redone UI.

Nice update! The animated rain and lightening flashes when T Storms are forecast is a nice touch.
Seems to be very accurate with data.
Still...the best radar app is without question BeRadar!! Fantastic

I like when a thunderstorm is forecast....on that day, it rains and flashes like lightening on the screen

It looks good. But for some reason it wont refresh for me. My current shows saturday august 3 still lol.
That's right, the maps and extended forecasts are the web app, and not as pretty. I've used BeWeather Pro for months too, and it's a visually nice app. The pre-10.2 version of the stock Accuweather app was pretty homely, but having run the two apps side-by-side, I have to say that I find Accuweather to be more accurate most of the time. BeWeather gets its data from Wunderground, I believe, and it just doesn't seem as good, at least where I am. With the new Accuweather app, I feel like I'm getting better info in a more attractive package. It's also more compact than BeWeather, which weighs in at over 50 MB--more if you add fancy icon sets.
I use the "real" Accuweather app, not the stock BB10 weather app which is powered by Accuweather. I really like it. Would definitely recommend it. The stock weather app was boring before. Now it's alright but until they do away with the with just slapping the web page into the app, I will stick with the "real" Accuweather app.

I was surprised with this incarnation of the app. I like the animations (I'm easily entertained!), and it's pretty accurate. I like that I can set several locations and swipe between them. I do still use BeWeather Pro, though. I can't bring myself to completely abandon it, and it's nice to compare between the two.
Got rid of the accuweather app and the stupid orange banner after upgrading to the 10.2 leak. Hope they make better animations and it will be perfect.
