It is about time we got the native app for BB10. I know this may be useless but maybe if we all show that we REALLY want it badly, Snapchat will do something for us.

    Thanks

I've never used or seen this app. What's so significant about it that makes you want it so much?

Yes. It's time we bring the full force of our 0.1% market share right down on them!

Joking aside, they are not interested. They've made it plain.

It must be a deal breaker for kids 13-25. It's unfortunate. I'm working with a developer on a chat app and I will make it for BlackBerry OS.

You'll get it when BlackBerry goes Android. There is no way that SnapChat will create a native BB10 app.

I mean it's greatt that's you're supporting BB10, but is it really worth it now that BlackBerry is going Android anyways?

If the SnapChat stuff is so important to you as a user, why would you buy a device that we've known from the start never gets the popular social app stuff?
We knew that going-in after losing hope on getting Skype or Netflix on our PlayBooks before the first BB10 device was released.

Even facebook and twitter apps had to be done by BlackBerry themselves and Instagram with independent 3rd parties.

Ironically, whatsapp has been the most supportive of such popular apps to support BB10 100% and it's competing with BlackBerry's baby, BBM lol

No some of us did think that BB10 devices were going to be different... that developers were holding out for marketshare. Still remember that board behind Thor with all those apps that were coming....

Anyone that bought a BlackBerry BB10 device in that first six- eight months after the launch... I'll give a pass too (cause I'm in there). But if you bought one after that point.... it's all on you.

The problem is for a while there were 3rd party SnapChat apps that worked.... so just like Cobalt's and SNAPS solutions today.... some people just assumed they'd always work.

Buying a product for -what it supposedly "is going to be" rather than for what it is at the moment of purchase- is a risky proposition.

Just remember those that bought a PlayBook after Thorsten promised that BB10 would be released for it a couple of years ago.
Can't believe ppl still pay attention to CEO's or announcements regarding anything BlackBerry.

I love my device and can't picture myself using anything other than BB10, but we have to also be realistic.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice.... lol

What's fool me trice.... Cause you would think that after the Storm and PlayBook I would have known better. Yet I bought a Z10.

And heck if I'm not a little interested in the SLIDER to some degree....

Pardon my ignorance, but does Snapchat replace whatsapp, instagram, fabebook, twitter or any other of those things, or do people just use it in addition to those other apps?

I will have to create an account on one of those things someday to see what the fuss is about lol
