I can't do it. Is there something I need to install on my phone? Someone please help.
Nope cant use the curve to watch youtube, which I think stinks since I am a curve user also. I think the new os that is soon to be out will enable support for viewing youtube. In the mean time, you can use sites like blueapple.mobi to watch videos. Welcome to CB
It works on the 8330 (Verizon). Not very well but works. For some reason it uses a small amount of the screen and squeezes the aspect ratio into almost a square which looks awful.

Yes I too can view youtube.com vids on my Verizon 8330 Curve. The vid size is a lot smaller than the actual phone's screen size but it still works. I am hoping the next updated software for Verizon users will fix this to increase the video size of youtube.com videos.

It's not a curve issue. I have a 8330 with verizon and I watch Youtube just fine and I don't need a 4.5 beta OS to do so. Make sure you have the latest device software from your provider. I am not completely sure how ATT does it, but I was able to watch Youtube right out the box on my phone.

Yeah it kind of sucks, and if you use the full screen option it stays the same size. It would be cool if it was true full screen.
In GemBlock.com, they have a best video thing where you can copy and paste the URL of anything on pc you wanna watch on YouTube, then enter your phone# and click send, and it will send that video to your phone. Then click on link and let it download. I have a lot of vids on my 8100 pearl...lol

Hi all bb. newbie here,
I just purchased the curve thru verizon wireless.
If you use the b.b. browser you can view youtube videos (small screen) it works well downloads fast.
My friend has the sprint curve 8330 and cant access youtube at all...seems that sprint blocked out youtube probably because they want thier customers to purchase sprint t.v.
I just wish the youtube videos on verizon 8330 would be the fullsize of the screen !!!! But what the ****, its still a cool feature...........Anthony
