I am not sure what to call this type of software. I want a GPS enabled program to track how far and how fast I walk/jog. I have a GPS enabled 8800 and a 8320 with a Bluetooth puck.

    Thanks in advance,

gps-logger was a good app but is temporarily (we hope) removed.

gpsed is another. There were a few others - check the older threads.

Another forum has a list of many gps programs.

Does anyone use GPSed on the Storm?

I am using the free version, but can't see where it saves the information to.

I get the speed I am walking at displayed on the screen, but it doesn't seem to extend to distance etc either.

I have not used gps-ed in a while but I think you have an option to save the track - maybe after you stop it. You can "export" it to a garmin format, I think.
