me too ! i can wait this one out this is a really good phone if it wasnt i would be more so leaning but im pretty legit with this one i guess it depends on your needs but people leave a good black berry phone for a want but then again idk are apps a need or a want ? i guess it depends on the person ?

I still have about a year left on my contract with my 9800. Hopefully BB10 devices will be down in price about the time I'm ready to upgrade.

I was waiting, but have fallen in love with the email system and keyboard shortcuts on the bold 9000. I am now terrified that these will be lost in bb10, so I'm looking at the 9900. That thing looks like the ultimate device!

That's my thoughts exactly. I hear all the hoopla about BBOS 10, but what is wrong with OS 7 ? I understand that there is a lack of an infrastructure compared to iOS, but the core functionality of the phone beats everything else on the market.

Is a BB 10 device going to be "magical" and rip users away from other devices or attract first time buyers ? Probably not, but for people like me, it should be awesome. I hope. (But please let it kill Android. Please...)

I agree with a lot of the posters here. I am technically "waiting" on BB10 to see what it's like when it comes out; but I'm not waiting in the sense that I'm buying one when it gets released. I love my current phone; and I'm not switching or upgrading anytime soon. However, I'm excited to see the new devices and to play with them in the stores! It'll be nice to have the "wait" ended, in that respect!

My 9700 is going to die soon. Like 6 months maybe, unless if I install a hybrid OS.

I am most definitely waiting for a BB10 phone. My contract ends in 2013, so I have a while.

HOWEVER, if any new devices do come out that I might want to purchase, I'd have to pay full retail price for them....so we'll see what happens down the road.

Don't get me wrong, I really like my 9900. It's an awesome device and I love using it

Hi everyone,
i like my bb 9900. Ive been through quite a few...BUt im sure they are going to continue the same models into the bb 10 which to me is going to be annoying...Look how many BB Bolds are out there... Theres only 1 or 2 differences from each other... They re-introduced all the old ones with better looks, some performance enhancemnts and of course the specs. into last yr and this yr... Why???? if BB wants to compete with IPhone & Samsung & Android come with something thats different and not the usual suspects of the old hand sets name with a twist!!!! Come strong and strike hard... Better battery life is what we all crave for...The rest of the apps is A MOST BB People!!!! Dont even get me started on the Playbook...Cause i though that would have a GREAT device to beat the ipad....lol i guess not... Apps Apps Apps....get them legalised nuh BB!!!! Make the playbook stand out now....Quicker boot time!!!! Apps!!!!!!!!! Netflix...Skype and sooooo on.....

Too bad the legacy of the dual co-CEO's is still hanging on.. In my world they should have had a working device before opening their mouths about BBX.
Like many, I want a BBX device and will get one once they are released, unless it is virtually identical to the PB, but I cannot justify upgrading my 9700 until I see the BB10.

Chindian, you sound like a broken record. Try putting a bit of skin into the game. Instead of all whining, write or have written an app? I wish I could attend BB Jam, I have an idea for an app, it's not an app for the masses, more of a need similar to the video posted months ago of the PB in the police car. At this point I may have to submit out some of the higher programming to someone more competent.
