I installed VzNav last week while on a trip, unlocked the GPS ,I used Google maps and Poynt more than navigator. My question is this, if I cancel Navigator will my GPS once again become locked? I would really have to weigh cancelling if that was the case. I have become spoiled with having it available for use.

why would your gps be locked? as long as ur gettign service ur gps should be open.

Not with Verizon. They block access to the GPS chip to outside map software, so you are stuck with BB Maps or VZ Navigator for GPS use.
