I just bought the Tour with DM 5.0. I am running Windows XP my computer. No problem at all syncing Outlook to the Tour.
My SO bought a Curve with DM 4.5 oin her computer (I have since installed DM 5.0 for her) Her computer is running Windows Vista.
When syncing her Curve, no Outlook option comes up for Calendar, Tasks, Contacts. (I plugged her Curve to my computer with XP and no problem, the Outlook option came up)
I have searched around various places and it seems that this is issue with Vista, but I can't find any solution.
Is there a solution with a Vista based computer to using DM and syncing Outlook Contacts/Calendars to the BB?
Has nothing to do with version of Windows. Has to do with version of MS Office you're running. If it's an older version, it won't see it. If she has a Curve with OS4.5 on it, upgrading to DM5 has no benefit to them.... really, you could sync your Tour with DM4.5 if you wanted... makes no difference.
