I was lucky to score an invite (through a friend) to a Verizon Z10 Launch party. It was hold at Proof Bar (in Midtown Houston).
WHen you checked in you get an NFC enabled wrist band. You then had to walk around 3 different stations (check in was 1 of them) and view a demo of the Z10. The first station showed off the time shift camera and the second showed BBM Video with screen share. They would then scan your NFC wrist band at each station. When you presented yourself at the 'prize' station, they would scan your wrist band again and then tell you what you have won. My friend won a Verizon Z10 (they were giving 10 away) and I was lucky enough to win a BlackBerry bluetooth portable speaker.

I took a few photos with my Z10 (though not too many since i was hanging out with friends)... my favorite was the trays that some of the roving demo gals were walking around with. They even lit up when it got dark...

The final picture has nothing to do with the event in Houston. It's just a pic of our new (super cute) puppy, Oscar.

I believe they were trying to make a joke out of the Z10 random rebooting issue that many users are having, including myself.

I've had my Z10 since Feb 5 th and never had random reboot nor did I have to do one my self

I have had it for around the same time (Feb) and not had a single reboot neither. Weird. Though I am with TMOBILE not Verizon.
