Guys,
Has anyone tried using a Verizon 8330 with a puck for geocaching using the trimble geocache navigator software. Was there any connection issues?
Thanks

I used it this way all summer with the trial version, and now just purchased the subscription which works as well. 8330 on Verizon with three different versions of the OS.
You need to make sure you are paired ok by verifying with Google Maps or Blackberry Maps.
In Options, Advanced, GPS set your device from internal to your bluetooth puck. When Geocache Navigator starts, it will ask for permission to access your GPS device. Confirm, and you are good to go.
It is by far the best software for caching on the Blackberry.
Nav4All will show you your exact coordinates under GPS, so that is handy if you don't subscribe to GeoNav.
This is what I found on the Trimble site, though you have an 8330:
Purchasing information for BlackBerry users
If you have a BlackBerry smartphone with built-in GPS (BlackBerry 8800, 8820, 8830, 8310, 8110 or 8130) you can buy the Geocache Navigator application directly from Handmark as a monthly or yearly subscription. (Note for Verizon users: Verizon Wireless is not a supported carrier at this time).
Monthly subscription for BlackBerry - $5.99 a month
Yearly subscription for BlackBerry - $39.99 a year
