    Hi,

I don't know what Venturebeat.com's problem is but it looks like they are just a bunch of Iphone fanboys parading like reporters. Check out the line..."Also, Rule Zero of navigating crowded places: Stash your pathetic BlackBerry and freaking watch where youre going."

Someone ought to do something about this.

What do you suggest? Honestly, do you think we can take away their rights to speak out on whatever they want to? Are there penalties we can extract? Do we round them up and put them in rail cars? Brand them with a scarlet iPhone? Or do we spread their message by calling attention to everyone and get folks riled up by posting their message where it is guaranteed to get them hits they'd never get otherwise?

It's worth thinking over. Posting negative Nellies on a fan site is cheap advertising for your opposition.

Let them be. Why do we even want to dwell on something we can't control?

The WIRED challenge, for a certain amount of time and degree, was a challenge that we crackberry users and abusers and super abusers (and what nots) could influence. At least the editor in charge of using BlackBerry did acknowledge the point where blackberry users were supporting and urging him on. That was something we could influence / control, despite the fact that the entire editorial team (insinuating that it included the guy using the blackberry himself) were rooting for the iphone to win hands down.

But articles like the ones in venturebeat? nah, not much.

I like the rail cars idea.
