I have a dumb question, I have been using my personal BB 9550 (VZW) for a while now, but my employer just gave me a new 9930 (Sprint). The 9930 did not come with a Micro SD card. I tried to just swap the card from my 9550 into the new phone but I got an error message. Is there a way to format the card so that I can use it in the 9930? I have noticed some features have been deactivated by my employer (like being able to send and receive pictures in BBM), is it possible that they disabled the Micro SD slot too? Thanks for the help.

Copy all the info from the micro sd card to your PC. Install the sd card to the 9930 And format the card.

I guess that's the part that I'm missing - when I put the card into the 9930 I get a pop error message that says fatal error, it doesn't prompt me to format the card. Is there a way that I can manually format it?

Load the info on to your computer via BB desktop software insert a CLEAN Micro SD card into the phone and try to load from the computer. Or try copying it to the device memory.

I must not have had the card seated properly. I tried it again this morning and it worked fine. Something flashed on the homescreen, but it was too quick for me to read, then it recognized the card and all of my data was still there right where it was supposed to be.
