I was wondering how I can store word docs, pdf, excel files on my media card. I sued Grid lock for basic expenses via an excel sheet... Where do I save this file if I want it on my media card? Do I need to make a separate folder?

    What I see now is:

    Media card
    --- Blackberry
------------- 6 sub folders (ringtones, music, videos etc...)
Do I need to create a (docs folder) here etc...???

Beyond going to the media icon on the BB, where can I see what else I have on my media stick.

    Thanks!

When you upgrade to 4.5 docs2go puts a couple folders on your stick....basically for storing docs. On your card..

You are free to create folders and subfolders on the device card.

Saving Office documents is simple, viewing them is another matter. The BlackBerry attachment viewer only works with mailed attachments.

DocsToGo will make short work of that limitation, except for the PDF documents.

That requires a subscription service like BeamBerry for professional results, or an ad hock approach like the free MobiPocket reader.
