I was at work. We had just gotten back to the station from a medic run and as we are backing the truck into the garage a reasonably attractive woman pulls up to the firehouse driveway and asks if we can help her. So we all say "SURE!". She was at an appliance repair place and they could not repair the electric motor on her appliance. The people at the repair shop told her of another shop in our area but she had gotten lost and had no idea where she was or how to find the repair shop. Everyone looks around at each other with confused expressions.
Everyone but me.
I whip out my trusty Curve, open Beyond411, and type in "electric motor repair". In seconds I find a list of several places. She doesn't know the name of the place so I ask what shop she just came from. I type that shops name in and have the number instantly. I then call and get the name of the shop they were sending her to. Finally I pull up the address via Beyond411 and give her turn-by-turn directions. All in the space of about 4 minutes.
All the guys looked at me with dumbfounded expressions. I just smiled as the pretty lady thanked me and complimented my "cool phone". She then went on her merry way and I looked like the coolest geek at the station.
Haha great story!, thats why BBs are so great they always work when you need it to and can come in handy in alot of situations, still i think she was most impressed by your phone than by you hehehe JK.

Alas, I could not in good concience do anything more than be polite and helpful to the woman as I am hapilly married. (That's why I said she was "reasonably attractive". My wife is the most beautiful woman I know.)
It was just fun to show to my buddies how my electronic toys can be useful.
