I have a 8330 curve and am operating on a Windows Xp system with Outlook 200. I downloaded the Desktop 4.2.2 version to allow it to synch with Outlook 200, but it it will not connect with my phone USB Port.

Here is what I have tried:

Downloaded and reinstalled Desktop 4.2.2 multiple times through Internet Explorer

Tried multiple USB Ports ( Dell Desktop Computer)

Ran a misconfiguration program at start up deleting multiple programs at start up...Dell suggestion

This was syncing at working before a virus that necessitated a complete restore of my systems etc. Same phone, same desktop version, no USB synch.

Really need some solutions as contacts etc. are vitally important etc.

Probably because DM 4.2 doesn't have drivers for the 8330. You need to use at least 4.3 or newer. And unfortunately, that does mean you can't use Outlook 2000.

A little confused as it was working previously with same phone and DM, with Outlook 2000. Any other ideas...thanks.
