I was wondering does the whole US Govt use BlackBerry? If so which carrier do they use? Just curious, I saw the Obama post and was wondering.

I know my friend who works for the DOJ has a govt issued BB. And remember a few months ago someone stole some belonging to either the FBI or Secret Service. I can't remember which. I don't recall the carrier though.

Yes, right from the top down. President Bush will never be seen with one, but all his advisors stay connected too.

Same applies to Canada, United Kingdom, all of Europe and Asia. The World runs on BlackBerry.

Kinda crazy but true that most governments in the world exclusively use BB's. Imagine all the security policies on those!

It would vary according to the State, city, or even the Dept. Remember that each Dept is responsible for their own Budget and is free to shop for the best deal, or in most cases the best lobyist.

Now you know he is not the brightest. He probably thought he was getting fruit when they said you're getting a blackberry. There is no way he would know what a pin is or how to use it.

Sorry all Bush fans.....I'm not one.

It varies. I work for the DOC and we have all of them TMobile, Verizon, Sprint/Nextel and maybe AT&T (not sure about that last one.)

I have a US Senate BB. The carrier cannot be classified because it says, right there on the bottom, Verizon.

    BTW - running 4.5.0.51
