If I upgrade via the os by deleting the vendor, does it change the software and any way?
and will it disrupt future updates?

Also, if I get the data plan, will it be locked to the sim or phone? I have an unlocked phone and an orange sim. If I buy a data plan on orange and change sims, will I still have the data plan?

You can use any carrier's OS or any leaked OS on your device, no matter which carrier you have.

Once a BlackBerry is unlocked, it is always unlocked. Upgrading/downgrading the OS has no effect on unlocking.
