Not sure if I am putting this thread in the correct place...

I have a Curve 8330 and am available for the upgrade to 8530. What are the main differences? Does the 8530 have more memory? I tried comparing int he BB site and really got nowhere. Thanks!

If you used the compare section it shows you which one has or doesn't have verses the other.

The advantages the 8530 has over the 8330 are mainly:
More memory, 256mb compared to 96mb
WiFi
Trackpad
Faster processor

Both models use the same screen, same camera (minus flash on the 8530, and same battery. The 8530 also has dedicated media keys at the top for listening to mp3 files on your BB.

It's pretty much like the Tour only with wi-fi and trackpad and smaller res screen.

You can't upgrade to any other BBs? I personally wouldn't suggest the 8530. I have an 8520 and I am not a fan of it.

I would recommend to wait for the bold 9650 if you can afford it... It has 512 MB ram, OS 6.0 ready, trackpad, faster processor etc etc...

8330 is old curve type with only 64MB memory right?
8530 is the new curve the memory is bigger, 128MB
