There is .184 from a couple other carriers. But to be honest, I wouldn't bother with such a small version change. There is a rumor that a significant OS release will be out next month. I would just wait for that.

Yes. That is the version it shipped with.

I would agree with sunkast, but it would be a good idea to have a copy of your current OS to roll back too, just in case.

If you are inclined to try John Clarks advise on customizing your OS, start with the original.

When a new OS version, v4.3 for example, becomes available, that will justify a full upgrade.

Mine came with 170. There isn't much in 184 to make it worth my time to upgrade. I'll just wait until the big upgrade comes out.
