Anyway to download the most recent version of device software for the 8703e without having to specify a particular carrier, but rather if the device is CDMA or GSM? I have a smaller carrier (Cellular South) and they rarely have downloads available via the RIM site.
You just have to check the various carriers websites, and we also try to do our best of putting the newest OS in a sticky at the top of the appropriate forum.
Does anyone know that the most recent version is? I think it is v4.2...?
As far as I know, there isn't a v4.2 out for the 8703e yet. The newest version for the 8703e is:
