    Default An Ungrateful Blackberry

Not a single mention of Africa in his keynote, despite it being one of the biggest growth areas for BB. At least 8 - 10 million of that 60 million subscribers come largely from South Africa and Nigeria. Not a single mention there.
Despite the promises he made repeatedly about SA and NG being 'wave 1' launch markets, I had to go digging to find out that the SA launch will be March at the earliest...and not a single mention of a release date in Nigeria.

I'm just mad that I'm gonna have to order my Z10 from the UK...:480 pounds from Carphone Warehouse and that, plus international shipping, is nowhere near cheap

Here's the direct promise from Thorstein just so you know I'm not lying
Blackberry 10 to be rolled out in waves, South Africa and Nigeria to get top priority | Ubergizmo

“South Africa is a priority one market for us, and we will acknowledge that with the launch of BlackBerry 10. There will be three waves in taking it to global markets, and South Africa and Nigeria are in the top range of Wave 1 launches. We will pay tribute to our customers here by delivering BlackBerry 10 in South Africa when it is launched,”

He did greet people in Johannesburg, right in the beginning of the keynote.
And as far as I know Johannesburg was in Africa and yes it still is.

Availability for US is march. And so is many major markets including African countries.

I'm talking about a mention when talking about global release dates...not just a 'shout-out' to the other venues. TH was talking about key markets and availability...and restricted himself to Europe, UAE and the US/Canada.

USA market is way bigger and they are not till march, it's still part of the first wave. Or would you sooner like to be in the 3rd wave?

I'm sorry I thought you spoke english, my mistake let me look up the definition of range for you.

"c. The full extent covered: within the range of possibilities.
    2.
    a. An amount or extent of variation: a wide price range."
