Are BB's capable of watching MPGs ??? I tried to watch a .MPG file on my Bold and also a 8820 in my office, and it says "This attachment type cannot be viewed on your device".

Thats what I read, too, but wanted to make sure I read that right. It seems kind of odd that the Bold (or any Blackberry) can't read one of the oldest video formats, MPG. I read somewhere else that you had to install MPEG-2 codecs on your PC that could convert MPG's for viewing on a BB. Know anything about that??

My dilemma is I have users in my office that need to be able to view MPG's on their BB as they arrive in email on the BB. Any idea how to make that work??

BBs will view .mp4 files - I have several of those on mine.

As far as converters, DoubleTwist comes to mind.

But MP4's are the newer generation of MPEG-formatted video files. I'll check out DoubleTwist.
