I was in France last year, and Wifi was everywhere. However, when I did a "Search for Networks" on the TMobile 8320, when it found them they only had 1 or 2 bars of strength indicated. Then, when I tried to connect, it always failed! I would get some error messages. So, no UMA, no benefit.

I have read often about folks using UMA overseas, but mostly in the Far East. Can TMobile BBs be successfully connected with European Wifi? I'm going back in a few weeks, so I would love to use UMA!

When is was in London in January/Feb I got signals strong enough for UMA and used it. At least back in February, T-Mobile did not block international IPs like Robbers, I mean Rogers does on their UMA. Just got to get a strong enough and open network to connect too. I've read where people have brought small WiFi routers with them on trips.
