I finally got my blackberry connected to my router via wifi, and i have my mobile network turned off and settings on wifi only. But I can still receive calls via uma, will that cost any additional charges or does that just take the minutes out of my current plan?

UMA calls will come off your plan / tariff.

If you don't have a hotspot @ home plan, it will come off your voice plan.
