Hey I'm looking to make the switch from my AT&T Tilt to my first Blackberry (the Bold) but if the price is going to drop from $299 with upgrade to $199 in a reasonable amount of time, I can wait. Is there any common logic as to when AT&T might feel compelled to drop the price on the Bold? I was thinking probably after Thanksgiving for the weeks leading up to Christmas?

I wouldn't expect the price of the Bold to drop anytime too soon, since it's new and the only 3g BlackBerry out for AT&T.

Even with the Storm coming out at $199 next week? And the iPhone at $199 as well...seems silly...and greedy.

Yeah, well...the Bold is da bomb! Everyone knows it, so why would you you not expect the carriers to make as much as they can for as long as they can?? : )
