Are there any problems that come with having
two BlackBerrys (mine 8310, and a 8320) using the same computer?
I mean for transferring media files, and
updating the OS if ever necessary.
I have removed some of the files on my Berry
to gain some memory.
And if that was to be done on the 8320 as well,
on the same computer would there be any problems?
Mixing files or something.
If there is something that I missed that
makes it so it's not possible please post it.
There shouldn't be any problems... I had three phones on my PC, 8100, 8310 & 8320. The all use different OS, so there shouldn't be any "mixing" of files.
Glad you asked cause I wouldn't have thought bout it til it was too late. I have an 8320 and thinking of getting my wife a berry (not sure which one yet)
This thread has confirmed for me that I can sync 2 -- or more -- BBs on a single computer.
Can someone please elaborate?
* Required minimum version of BB os and/or DTM?
* Anything special to configure in the Desktop Manager (DTM)?
* Specific order to sync?
* Gotchas, etc.?
My requirement is simple:
I want the calendar and contacts from Outlook 2003 to sync identically with both BBs. Also, any items created on either BB would sync back to Outlook.
So I now have another BlackBerry, a Pearl 8130.
But I'm having some problem with using Desktop Manager
I don't have the Device Software on the Computer, and I believe that is the problem .
However, I can't find it to DL anywhere.
I'm also looking for this program to use that I’ve read about on here,
I think it's Max Mem, or something along those lines.
It's a program you run on your berry to remove unwanted items.
Does this remove certain themes as well?
If someone could post it I would appreciate it.
Okay, have you ever heard of "Two Girls, One Cup." Well, that is the funny part. We merely thought you were playing on that with the naming of your title thread. Clearly not.
