Times change, and technology makes them change faster.
Twitter isn't for everyone. I thought it was inane when I first heard of it. But it's been fairly useful and interesting.01-14-09 04:02 PM - i tried twitter for a little while. i think it's a neat idea and i used it to keep up to date with friends and family around the country.
In the end i deleted it because it felt very impersonal to stay in touch by writing little blogs.
Perhaps my life is just uneventful
i also felt hassled a bit and felt that i should be updating it at least once a day. But...like myspace...it became more of a chore.
i'll stick to BBM, text, IM, email. Phone. That's enough! Ha

I think it points towards a shift in interactions... it allows for measured exposure. Networking is a key concept in our world today, and Twitter facilitates that.01-28-09 07:18 AM - Agreed. It is just a fun social network and like she said, you don't feel pressured to participate.To me, Twitter is just fun. Pick it up. Put it down. Look at it or not. I don't feel pressured to answer or interact like I sometimes do with BBM. It will never replace all my other messaging options, but it sure is a fun addition!!!
