    I was just wondering if it were possible for make then phone turn on *just* when a certain phone number or two calls?

    Just keep your phone off, it's a real **** off when people keep their phone's off.

    Having your phone off means that the network is off how would your phone even be able to receive anything? -_- not to mention by the time the phone actually turns on, the call will be missed. Completely illogical.

    no, but you set up a profile that silences all calls but for the contacts you want to reach you.

    You can do that in your contact profiles. @least with the 9700.

    You can turn on any phone using network. Feature not accessible unless you are working for your provider and have a very specific job description As long as battery and sim are on place phone can be reached no problem.
