I turn mine off when I go to bed, and the alarm wakes me up in the morning.
Other than that it's on ALL day.

My turns off at nights and turns back on in the am 7 days a week. I see no reason to have it on while I'm sleeping.

I'm as addicted to my BlackBerry as I was to my Treo, so I use auto-off between 11:59p and 6:30a just so I can get some sleep. How many times have I thought "I'll just check out Slate for a minute" then look up and realize its closing in on 3am...

Um, it turns off? Lol, only if I have to restart for OS upgrades. But then I suppose it wouldn't be truly off...

Assuming of course the air travel is not a consideration. I try to keep the air crew happy so that I don't have to deal with federal agents upon landing!

Yeah my berry is never off except for those times when a reset or turn off is required to install/uninstall/fix a problem.

For my personal Blackberry I turn it off at night before going to bed, then turn it back on in the morning when I wake up. My work one I keep on only during business hours (I'm also on call once every 6 weeks where for that 1 week I'll keep the work BB on all the time).

I have my auto on/off set for 2-5 on weekdays and 2-7 on weekends. I don't know if its good/bad for it to be on 24/7 so I err on the side of giving it a rest.

So, I used to have it auto off/on at 3am and back on at 4am. I don't know why really, I figured I would DEFINITELY be asleep at that time.
Now, however, I work some days, sometimes the middle of the night (I'm up and at work now at 4:30a) so I've disabled the auto on/off feature. When I go to sleep I turn to the "Quiet" profile.

I use Auto Off and my phones power down at 23:00 and come back up again at 07:30 during the week and at 08:30 at weekends.

I also have AutoStandby installed and between that and Auto Off, my battery lfe is massively improved.

Instant Messenger is not installed on either phone as I prefer to use emails.

Yup only when the battery dies...
I don't see why it should be bad to leave it on 24/7

If anything, it's usually bad to turn it on and off all the time. Having power load and unload the circuits wears it out faster.

I have my BB set to automatically turn off at 1 am and turn back on around 7 am. I'm asleep at that time and like to give it a rest.
