I have a Blackberry curve 8310. I downloaded to applications that end in .jad but when I go to my desktop manager and try to application load it doesn't accept .jad. It is looking for a .ali or a .alx.
.jad is the ota file those are downloaded straight to the berry from the internet. you need to see if they have a zip file that contains the alx and cod files
I can't really remember on the older curve, but give this a try stick the jad into ur SD card, goto media, hit the blackberry button left of the trackball, select explore, find the jad file and select it. Then it'll ask u if u want to install it.
