Can anyone tell me for sure that Google Maps, Gpsed, and other 3rd party apps work on the Verizon Tour? I currently have the Curve and it is locked to Blackberry Maps and VZNavigator only. I want more use from my Blackberry. Also if the Tour GPS does work, does Verizon somehow assess fees for using 3rd party GPS apps?

I got some answers on Verizons forum, just checking here before I go switch.

Yes it works, no they don't.

Did the answers you received on Verizon's forum not suffice?

You could always call Verizon support and ask them directly, too.

for the record.. I doubt verizon will ever have another blackberry that gps doesnt work..
