I have been with my Torch 9800 for 4 months now. I have replaced it twice due to battery issues. I am on my 3rd device now and still... the battery is a problem.
I am a heavy user, specially BBM and this seems to drain the battery. I have now the Battery Boost App which helps me monitor the battery usage (it alerts me of any apps running in the background which might drain the battery), however still the battery life of the Torch is very poor compared to the Bold. (Ok, larger screen, etc.. might be a factor, but still I have all the settings for the lowest battery consumption).
I wonder if the new Torch 9850/ 9860 have battery life improvements? I do not trust what the original spec says (cos the spec of the Torch 9800 is not realistic).
