I see The Sunday Times are publishing the top 500 apps over the next two Sundays. Anyone seen today's list?

I'm gonna guess that 95% of the CB community doesn't have access to either. Wanna post a screen shot, a text list or even a picture of the article from the newspaper please?

The main 3rd party app I am praying for is black book. Its a life saver. I am upping my efforts and encrypting messages even sent to the blackbook from now on. I was nearly compromised.

i have heard of maybe 60-70% of those apps and probably have 40% of them on my phone at one time or another. I would say 20% at most are make or break apps for RIM to have though. Many are specialized and wouldnt be in huge demand and some are easily replaced by a similar app.

Wasn't that @blackberryscoop who came up with those numbers? If so, then I wouldn't put much stock in that figure..

Of the 20% make or break apps, which in your opinion are the top 5?

I've found that there are apps out there that I would never have thought I would need or use and wouldn't have searched for it. It's lists like these or word of mouth that brings them to light.

Fairly sure Thorsten or some C level exec has said that so it's fairly reliable. But it's top 500-600 across regions and markets I think, it was all a bit vague....

I have the article here next to me but it's a 20 page supplement, so I'm disinclined to type it out or photograph it. The apps aren't ranked, they're just listed by category, this week has social networking, news, business, shopping, fashion & beauty, games, cars, sport, food, drink, photography, money, humour, and "look it up" which means reference. I'll answer any questions you might have though

I saw the APP list. They also tell you which platform each App is available on. Interestingly SKYPE was iOS, Android, Windows and wait for it Blackberry......either a printing error or they know something we do not.

netflix, instagram, pandora, kindle would be big ones. Most RIM already has like angry birds, box and dropbox support and some others. Its different from every person. I have to have a good maps app and google maps is almost a must for me because i have stuff saved on it and such

I'd say its probably like 100% certain that Pandora will be on there.. Seeing as I was able to sideload the Android version onto my dev alpha.. I sure hope they make a native one, but nonetheless at least it'll be there in Android form.
