Lol don't ask ppl for their thoughts on Android in a Blackberry forum. If you like Android go for it...but choose something that has solid hardware and battery life (Samsung SII and Galaxy Nexus still are solid performers)...Everything else that are software related can be customized or fixed...by that I mean everything. Don't listen to ppls negative comments too much. Android phones aren't really made for u to use them as they are out of the box. They usually come with full of bloatwares and crappy settings that slow them down a lot. Invest a bit more time to make it clean and get the right settings for ur phone. After that you will have something that functions exactly how you want it.

Specifications do matter. Don't listen to those who say they don't. It's simple - good specs enhance user experience.
For example, just try using a phone with a good quality, high resolution, large screen, and adequate power (RAM, SoC) for a few days. For browsing the web, watch a youtube movie, work with email, etc. It will be very hard for you to go back to a smaller resolution/size screen.
Although there may be other considerations that are important as well. - 06-10-2012, 08:05 PM #69
I'm not saying you would switch to Android and not be happy with it, even get sucked in to all the Google marketing stuff. I would understand that actually, but once you go Crackberry you never go back without feeling at least the aftertaste of missing that beautiful keyboard and solid messaging feel. No way. That's a reason why I still have my Blackberry 9900, best phone for work, for sure.

I never thought I would leave behind my bb, but I have. I've gone to an android. My decision had nothing to do with what friends were doing. The iPhone and the androids have left bb in the dust. I felt very bad for leaving my bb behind but moving on to better reception and technology.
