I use Javaloader from JL_Cmder (I know it's a RIM tool) and this little routine

    cd c:\progra~1\jl_cmder
    javaloader -u screenshot bb.bmp
    pause
    c:\windows\system32\mspaint c:\progra~1\jl_cmder\bb.bmp
    pause

I means that I do not have to run JL-Cmder each time I want a pic.

Save the code into a text file and call it pic.bat. Make sure that JL_Cmder is installed and your phone is connected to the PC, Mass Storage Mode must be off and the screen you want is displayed.

Double click on pic.bat and the picture will apear in Paint. You can now save the image in any valid Paint format anywhere on your PC.

It is very fast in use.

Then ya get onto Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket and sign up for an account and you can post pics on CrackBerry.

This is where I live. The blue bit is Lake Geneva.

Rove is very good but costs money. This is free as is using JL_Cmder but I am always scared that I am going to nuke my phone if I type the wrong number from the menu. This is why I wrote that little bit of code.

Is there anything that you can do straight on your phone? Or do you always have to be on a pc because I have a Mac and don't want windows on it

Maybe I'm missing something but the site says 100% Free and I have been using it at home for some time now without any sign that it is a trial version.

Rove Mobile viewer for Blackberry for taking screen shots is most definitely free.
The mobile admin and remote desktop access is not.

Wow. Sorry guys. I downloaded it once and it wanted money so I just deleted it. I had no intention to mislead you. Thanks for correcting me, Chaz.

I wrote it. I am 900 (well 62) years old and learned this stuff when it was the only way to get the job done. It kinda stuck.

The reason I use Microsoft Windows is precisely BECAUSE it does all this stuff. I used to maintain 50 Macs and it was like working with one hand.
