I was wondering is there a setting or app, that can be used to stop receiving emails, texts etc after a certain time?

I love my passport it is an amazing business machine, but by 7 or 8pm I'd like that I am able to powerdown from all that (without actually shutting the phone down or going into bedside mode) and still receive phone calls.

I find it difficult with the device to have a work life balance, especially since I own my own business making the balance even tougher.

    Thanks in advance.

You can go into Settings on your phone and change the profile to Phone Calls Only. You will still get the message but no notifications.

There are a few apps that allow for scheduling notification profiles.

PowerTools is one that springs to mind.

I agree that the best bet would be the phone calls only profile. I actually leave this profile on for the entire day. While I'm working, I hate getting distracted by pointless texts or emails coming in.

You could make events in your calendar and than activate 'meeting mode'. The phone will automatically change profile to meeting which you can customise as you wish!

    Check out Profile Manager:

That would allow you to schedule profiles,
    and/or create custom ones... :-)
