    Is there any other way for me to just make my computer read my Blackberry as a portable drive so that I can just transfer files as though it were a USB thumb drive?

    Enable mass storage mode In options
    Options/memory/ enable mass storage mode support and
    Auto enable mass storage to either yes or prompt
