I have a blackberry 8330 Curve for verizon, and I have been trying to find a lyrics application for blackberry that would allow me to type in an artist and find lyrics straight from my blackberry. Has anyone heard of such an application?

Are you trying to view the lyrics while listening to the song on the music player? I don't think the OEM music player supports lyrics.
On my iTouch, I use Media Monkey and a lyrics website (forget the name) and I just copy and paste it into the lyrics tab in Media Monkey. This along with the album art shows up. but again, it's an iTouch and not a BB.
There may be a 3rd party music player app that will do this.
