    A whole thread dedicated to defending the left shift key when in actuality it never needed defending. How bout that!

    I use both depending on what key I'm typing next. Eg. If I'm going to type an A, which would be with my left thumb, then I use the right shift with my right thumb. If I'm going to type an L, which would be with my right thumb, I use my left thumb on the left shift.

    Although I often just use the press and hold method. For how often the shift keys get used (not that much really) they take up an awful lot of keyboard real-estate.
