Just don't see the point in having two shift button at the bottom of the keyboard on the 8900. Why not just make one of them the full stop button. If you press and hold down the letter it makes caps of that letter anyways so what's the bloody point.
Plus there already one shift button on the right so why have two I'd rather that button be used for something else. It so anoying having to press the alt button just to get a full stop. And yess I know u can press space bar twice to get full stop but still.
They let the keyboard design down on that factor.
Ohh I feel much better now that's orf my chest. Lol

I dunno, it comes in really handy when one handed typing, and you need the numerals lock.

Roll your thumb from Alt to shift, you're locked.

So I guess there is a point.

I use the right shift actually when I type. But I am left handed and type with my left thumb so I am thankful they added it.

I bet there is a correlation between right handed people and left shift and left handed people and right shift.

I have japanese input enabled and the right shift button is dedicated to switching between the different character sets which would leave me only one shift button on the left.

I actually use only the left shift key on my BB and my computer. I just have to use my left ring finger for A and Q on the computer.

I am left handed, so don't ask me why I don't use the right one.

I don't really use the shift key since you can hold the buttons down to capitalize them. I do use the left one for the number lock. The right one not so much for the caps lock.
