check the memory usage on your pics and such, if you are holding too many things in your phones memory it will bump text and call logs. i found this out the hard way myself. move what you can to a media memory card and all will be fine.

    welcome to cb!!!

If u go to status and look at free space it should be seven or more numbers and it wont delete. If it is less it will delete convos, logs and emails.

I have the curve 8310 and have been having the same problem. Does the 8310 have a memory card? I don't have a slot for one like I did on my Treo....

Search for the answer yourself, you must, young Skywalker.

Just do a search and you'll find answers to most of your questions on CrackBerry.

You will find it under the battery.

The memory card is only for music/ pics/ringtones and videos.

That is a valid concern. Any time you take charge of your device, there is a risk something could go wrong and really set you back.

I would suggest doing it in stages, do what you are comfortable with and stop short of the Full Bore suff.

If you have any questions, I will be there to help you through. If we end up with a "novice friendly" FAQ, my work is done.
